Caribbean Senior Enlisted Leaders Forum

The first staging of the Caribbean Senior Enlisted Leaders Forum was launched on Tuesday, July 25, 2017, in Kingston, Jamaica.

The two-day forum is jointly hosted  by the Jamaica Defense Force and the United States Southern Command (US SOUTHCOM). Speaking at the opening ceremony, Sergeant Major Thomas Eggerling, US Marine Corps, (SOUTHCOM), commended the organizers of successfully accomplishing their vision. He also shared on the importance of military partnerships and training in safeguarding citizen safety and security across the region.

Enlisted leaders represent defense and security personnel of the highest level of enlisted ranks. The purpose of the forum is to facilitate discussions on roles and responsibilities of enlisted  ranks, regional security and combatting illicit trafficking. Participating countries present were Antigua and Barbuda, Belize, Bermuda, Bahamas, Guyana, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Jamaica and The United States.
