Consular Update: U.S. Embassy Closure Notice – September 7, 13 & 14

In light of the Jamaican government’s announcement of no-movement days on September 7th, 13th & 14th, the U.S. Embassy will be closed for regular consular services on those days.

The Embassy is closed on Monday, September 6, due to to the U.S. Labor Day Holiday. All regular appointments scheduled for September 7th, 13th & 14th, are canceled. Applicants will receive information about rescheduling shortly.

U.S. citizens requiring emergency assistance can contact the office for American Citizen Services at 876-702-6000 or KingstonACS@state.gov on September 7th, 13th & 14th, for further guidance.
