‘Tis the season to be jolly’ and Jamaica’s Jolly Boys did spread much cheer, with their unique sound at U.S. Embassy Kingston’s Holiday Concert, held December 15, 2015. With lead singer Albert Minott, the  seasoned and ever energetic group delivered all-time Jamaican Mento favorites, to which many in the audience could not contain themselves.  The incomparable Jamaica Youth Chorale stayed true to form and was the perfect fit to open the show. The gifted vocalists, ages 16-26 years performed holiday favorites marking the Yuletide season.  United States Ambassador Luis G. Moreno welcomed guests who included Minister of Youth and Culture, the Honorable Lisa Hanna, and British High Commissioner, David Fitton. The U.S. Mission is pleased to have celebrated the Holidays with over 100 guests, many of whom are first time visitors to the Embassy.
