Event: The U.S. Embassy advises U.S. citizens that the emergency phone number to the Jamaican Constabulary Force (JCF); 119, is currently out of service. We would like to remind U.S. citizens to remain vigilant and if you encounter an emergency, please contact the police at either 876-220-2836 or 876-404-0616.

- All U.S. citizens should enroll in the Department of State’s Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP)to receive Alerts and ensure you can be located in an emergency.
