Scott Feeken currently serves as the Acting Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy in Jamaica and assumed those duties on April 5, 2021. He has served in Kingston since 2019, previously as Consul General overseeing the Embassy’s Consular Section.
Mr. Feeken joined the Foreign Service in 2002. He has held a range of consular positions overseas previously in Ukraine, the Philippines, Mexico, and Canada. He had assignments in Washington, D.C. as well, including as House Liaison Director for the Department of State with the United States House of Representatives and Management Analyst in the Bureau of Consular Affairs’ Executive Office. Before joining the Department of State, he worked for members of the United States Congress.
He is from Topeka, Kansas, where he graduated from Washburn University with degrees in History and Political Science. He also holds a master’s degree in National Security Strategy from the National War College in Washington, D.C. He and his wife have three children.
