Strengthening U.S. – Jamaica Partnerships

Traveling onboard a U.S. Air Force C-130, a contingent of the United States District of Columbia Army National Guard arrived in Jamaica on Saturday, July 22, 2017.

Forty-five specialist doctors and nurses, led by Colonel Bolivia Davis and Colonel Gregg A. Vigeant, will commence a two-week medical outreach in Annotto Bay, St Mary. The group will be deployed to the Annotto Bay Hospital and the town’s health center, where they will conduct medical and dental services for the duration of their stay.

This two-week medical mission is in partnership with the Jamaica Defense Force,  Led by Major Gail Ranglin-Edwards, the JDF Medical Officer.
